As you might already know, Bali doesn’t have a reliable public transport system. It’s basically non-existent. Hence, you can only get to Tibumana Waterfall Ubud on your own, with a private driver, or by joining a guided tour.

Rent a motorbike

The best option when traveling around Bali is renting a motorbike. It certainly gives you the most freedom. We personally recommend renting a motorbike near Kuta or Canggu upon arrival.

You can keep the same motorbike for the whole Bali trip. If you plan to explore North Bali, it’s helpful since you won’t find bike rentals there. Additionally, it’s the cheapest way of getting around the island.

When renting for more days or weeks, you always get a discount. The rental price starts at around 70,000 IDR per day. You can pay as little as 50,000 IDR per day when renting for a week or more.

You will find many rentals around Ubud if you don’t arrive on a motorbike.
