Siargao is a mind-blowing destination in the Philippines. After all, it has some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen.
You should definitely join Siargao island hopping – hop on a boat and explore some other nearby islands when traveling to Siargao.
In this post, I would like to share with you our experience. I will describe how to organize the tour, how much it costs, and what to expect as well as some other details and tips.
Where to book Siargao island hopping tour
Price: 20-40€
In order to get the cheapest price possible I would recommend booking the tour in person in General Luna. There are multiple offices and tour companies all over General Luna and Cloud 9 area.
Most of the prices are between 20-25€. However all the companies offer same sevices on the trip. Usually you get a banquet style lunch with seafood.
Other option would be to get a private boat. This will cost you around 30-40€ per boat. If you are traveling with a bigger group you an split the cost. This option doesn’t include any lunch.
You can possibly get some food on Daku island or pack a lunch. It’s also possible to buy some seafood before departure and ask local to grill it for you.
You can also book this Siargao island hopping tour online. The only online tour I managed to find is this Siargao island hopping tour on Klook. The price is comparable to offers from street vendors on the island.
We personally went with Colz company. They have good prices, great reviews and a very clear offers and itineraries. You can find them on Instagram.

What to expect at Siargao island hopping tour
Guyam island
Guyam island Siargao is a small tropical paradise surrounded by reef. However most of the island’s coast consists of rocks. Smaller half has a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters though! Furthermore there are palm trees with few swings and hammocks around.
In addition you can also find a few benches here. There is no food but you might be able to buy some drinks. A local guy will be more than happy to climb a palm and get you a fresh coconut.

Daku island
Daku Island Siargao is the biggest island you will visit on this tour. This is also a place where all tours stop for lunch. You will spend more than an hour on Daku Island.
Meanwhile can enjoy stunning beach, incredible water and relax under coconut palm trees. You will also meet more locals on this island. There was bunch of kids playing in water when we came.
Siargao island hopping lunch break
Lunch is served as a banquet style seafood table. It’s basically a big table full of different food – rice, noodles, fish, shrimps, fruit… If you want some drinks you can buy them from a small shop on the beach.
Naked island
Naked island is exactly what it sounds like. It’s just a sand bank surrounded by ocean from all the sides. You can walk from one end to the other in about a minute or so.
There is no life on the island – no trees, no bushers… Literally nothing. During a quick stop here you can swim or walk around the sandy island. It’s also perfect spot for a cold beer and relax.
Siargao island hopping – Snorkelling stops
Apart from Guaym island, Daku island and Naked island our tour included 2 snorkelling stops. Unfortunately due to typhoon Odette in 2021 many corals were damaged and haven’t been able to regrow since then. But you can still see fish and corals. Snorkelling around this area is beautiful.
Best guided tours on Siargao
- Island hopping tour – Visit the three most beautiful islands near Siargao. The tour takes you to Naked Island, Daku Island, and Guyam Island. Additionally, you will also stop at two snorkeling spots. This was an unforgettable experience!
- Sohoton tour – Visit incredible Sohoton Cove! This trip takes a whole day, but each stop is unique. You will visit caves and different lagoons, swim with jellyfish, and enjoy cliff-jumping and rope swings.
- Land tour – Perfect for those who don’t want to drive a scooter. The tour takes you to Coconut Road, Magpupungko, Maasin River, and Sugba Lagoon.

In conclusion, joining Siargao island hopping tour was amazing decision! Siargao is already beautiful and Siargao beaches are undeniably stunning. But Guyam, Daku and Naked island are what I imagine when you say private tropical paradise.
It’s literally paradise on earth. Besides it was such an incredible experience to wander around the island on boat all day. What’s more it’s not stressful at all. You have more than enough time for each island. It’s definitely the perfect day trip if you want to relax and slow down.
